Denny Sanford PREMIER Center offers several options for parking on-site. We have multiple public parking lots located around the complex that are free year-round (unless otherwise specifically noted during an event).
Two lots located just to the north and south of the PREMIER Center are generally free and open during the day but are marked and used as VIP Parking during ticketed events. During events, these lots are for Premium Seat Holders with some additional spaces being sold per event on a first-come, first-served basis. ADA parking spots within these lots for events are also first-come, first-served, but do not require a paid reservation.
Parking is available after 5PM on weeknights and all day on weekends in the Sioux Falls School District's Operational Services lot directly west of the complex on Western Avenue.
Lanes have been extended on the south side of the venue to allow for more drop off zones.
Additional parking also is available at Earl McCart Fields located a few blocks south of Denny Sanford PREMIER Center, as well as on the streets south and east of the facility, allowing people to walk to the facility.
Traffic control measures may be used during larger events, including controlling traffic lights at key intersections, and directing drivers to follow predetermined roadway paths as they leave the events.
LYFT, Uber, limousines, and other rideshare drivers and riders must use the designated pick-up and drop-off area on the north side of the complex, near the entrance to the Sioux Falls Arena. Rideshare pickup and drop off is not permitted in any other location.
Vehicles left overnight in any facility parking lot must be removed prior to 7AM the next day. Any vehicles left unattended overnight that are not removed in time will be towed at the owner's expense.
All of our general parking is free of charge year-round, unless otherwise noted for an event. VIP/Premium Parking is not included.
Our designated rideshare locations are on the north side of our complex near the Sioux Falls Arena. There is directional signage inside of our Convention Center hallway to direct guests to the correct entrance. LYFT, Uber, party busses, and limousines are all required to utilize the rideshare entrance for the facility and may not pick up attendees from other locations on the campus.
VIP/Premium parking passes are available in limited quantities for each event. Some may be available to purchase when you arrive for the event, but can also be purchased in advance through our box office.
To ensure all guests are safe and do not drive under the influence, we do allow cars to be parked overnight at our facility. We ask that any vehicles parked overnight be removed prior to 7am the next day to allow space for other events, and to avoid being towed. Towing of vehicles left unattended overnight are subject to the owner’s expense.
