NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Regional Tickets on Sale Nov. 13
The Sioux Falls Sports Authority, in conjunction with the Summit League, will host the 2016 DI Women’s Basketball Regional at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. The Regional incorporates the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 rounds of the NCAA DI Women’s Basketball Tournament. The Sweet 16 will consist of two games played on March 25 and the Elite 8 will consist of one game on March 27, with the winner advancing to the Final Four in Indianapolis.
All-session passes are $40 for adults and $30 for students and senior citizens and will go on sale Friday, November 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the KELOLAND Box Office, www.ticketmaster.com, charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000, and at all Ticketmaster outlets. The all-session pass includes one ticket for each day, Friday, March 25 and Sunday, March 27.
In 2014, the NCAA selected Sioux Falls as a first-time host for the upcoming Regional. The other 2016 Regional sites are Bridgeport, Connecticut; Dallas, Texas; and Lexington, Kentucky.
Sioux Falls Sports Authority
The Sioux Falls Sports Authority was formed in 2006 by community leaders to recruit major sporting events to the Sioux Falls area. The organization attracts international, national, and regional sporting events. The organization will host the 2016 NCAA DII Wrestling National Championships on March 11-12, the 2016 NCAA DII Women’s Basketball Elite 8 on March 22-23, and the NCAA DI Women’s Basketball Regional on March 25 and 27.
